The time is drawing near to the purchase of a new phone. Luckily, my Sprint phone plan won't even let me save money on a new phone until April. This is good because it forced me to be patient, which I believe has got me passed the influx of some delicious looking first generation smartphones. Now that the new contenders have been out for a few months, what's the winner thus far? The HTC Hero is very impressive, and it looks like mutlitouch/pinch-zoom software problems are being fixed on the Nexus One. I have a feeling there is some information I am missing out on. As of right now, I'm thinking the Nexus One is out in front. I should mention that I mainly want to use my phone (other than for calling people) for multimedia purposes, so full screen phones are probably necessary. I'm also going replace my old iPod Photo (rest in peace) with whatever phone I choose, so music playback is important. Questions? Comments?

God damn it. Now Sprint is coming out with a new 4G phone due out in June. JUNE?! The HTC EVO looks pretty sweet and actually looks superior to the Nexus One in a few ways. Bigger screen, faster downloading speeds, better camera, double the internal memory, just to name a few. And I believe most of the other characteristics like processor speeds are about on par with the Nexus One. I know I'm just going to have to jump in and get a new phone soon, but is it worth waiting for a 4G phone. If I get the tail end of the 3G phone revolution, will I regret it later. Help me BinOpp forum goers, help!

*Huff* 4G may not be around for years, but the EVO itself looks pretty rad. Although I'm almost frightened that the screen might be too big. I'm not too concerned with the battery life so much because it's one of the biggest out there. But who knows. I should just get an old rotary phone glued to a TV and call it good.

I haven't looked in to the phone too much but I will have to look into it's size. Your starting to scare me with all this size talk.
